The History and Evolution of Laser Rangefinders
Laser rangefinders have come a long way since their inception in the early 1960s. From their humble beginnings as military equipment to their widespread use in sports and leisure activities, laser rangefinders have become an indispensable tool for measuring distance accurately and quickly.

In particular, they may struggle to measure distances in fog or other adverse weather conditions, and may also have difficulty accurately measuring reflective surfaces or objects that are close to the ground. Additionally, laser rangefinders require a clear line of sight to the target, which may be difficult to achieve in certain contexts.
